Lunchtime Discussions on Death and Dying In-Person

This new, monthly series aims to offer information and exploration of options and considerations around the processes of preparing to die, and dying itself. Learning about and exploring these topics as a group reminds us that we are not alone, and it gives us the opportunity to share our perspectives and ask questions together, as we plan for our inevitable exit.

Tuesday, January 23: Legal and Financial Considerations:  Attorney Suzanne Johnson will discuss Advance Health Care Directives, Wills, Powers of Attorneys and uses of trusts, designation of beneficiaries and how accounts are held.

Tuesday, February 27: Death Guides / Death Doulas: Join us for a conversation with INELDA-certified (International End of Life Doula Associaion) Death guide Mol Bones and her apprentice Grace. They will explain how death guides and doulas can guide you through a life review, create a legacy project, plan a vigil, discover ritual and plan for a good death. You don't even have to be the one who's dying to benefit from these services. For more information on INELDA, visit https://inelda.org/.
