Canoe & SUP Safety: Know Before You Go In-Person


Learn the basics of safe paddling in this hands-on introduction to canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) with  registered Maine Guide Alice Bean Andrenyak https://www.amaineguide.com/. This session covers essential safety tips, how to properly wear a life jacket, recognize water hazards, and check weather conditions before heading out. Participants will also learn how to responsibly rent and care for equipment, including paddleboards, canoes, and paddles. Whether you're a beginner or brushing up for the season, this program will help you enjoy local waterways with confidence and care. Join us in the meeting room but be prepared to go outside with us!
