National Library Week - National Library Outreach Day

Today is NATIONAL LIBRARY OUTREACH DAY of National Library Week.

9:30 to Noon at the Middle Street entrance - Our EV-Bookmobile will be parked on the Middle Street patio. Come inside to browse and learn about how this mobile library has expanded Curtis' reach to formerly underserved areas of Brunswick and Harpswell.

6:00 pm in the Morrell Meeting Room - View an advanced screening (60 minutes) of the upcoming Independent Lens documentary "FREE FOR ALL: The Public Library," followed by a panel discussion with Curtis' Executive Director Liz Doucett, Board Chair Tahnthawan Coffin, Board Chair Alum Lisa Botshon, and special guest featured in the film, Abigail A. Van Slyck, Dayton Professor Emerita of Art History and Architectural Studies, Connecticut College, and author of "Free to All: Carnegie Libraries & American Culture, 1890-1920."
