Sustainable Brunswick: Get Ready for Winter In-Person
Join us for an engaging library program featuring William “Bill” Guindon, MPA, Mass Care Coordinator with the Maine Emergency Management Agency, and Josh Katz, who will each speak for half an hour on important community topics. Bill Guindon will discuss mass care coordination and practical steps for improving personal and community preparedness, while Josh Katz will explore winter salt use, its environmental impacts, and sustainable alternatives to help limit damage to our ecosystems. In addition, we’ll have a display of interesting Library of things items to inspire attendees to borrow and choose the right tools and supplies for preparedness and sustainability.
