Summer Camp Crafts for Grown Ups: Indigo Dyed Shibori Bandanas In-Person
Adults are invited to join us in the Creative Hive this summer to re-visit classic summer camp crafts from your childhood. Space is limited so please make sure to register. Campfire not included.
This month we will end our series by dying cotton bandanas. Instead of summer camp tie-dye, we will use natural indigo extract and Shibori, a traditional Japanese method used for folding and dyeing fabric. Learn how to experiment with natural dyes and how to fold fabric to create dye resist patterns.
Please note that indigo will dye whatever it touches, so dress for mess!
