September is Library Card Sign-Up Month!
September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month! Encourage your friends and neighbors in Brunswick and Harpswell who may not have a Curtis Library card to stop-in at Curtis or the Bookmobile to pick up their free card and explore all that your public library has to offer you! Apply online here. Our out-of-town friends can purchase 3-month, 6-month or one-year cards for a reasonable fee.
Each week this month, one lucky new cardholder name will be drawn to win a small Curtis tote filled with some Curtis goods.
This month, the Bookmobile will be popping up at some special locations for additional opportunities to sign up for a Curtis Library card:
- Friday, September 11 from 4 to 7:00 pm at 2nd Friday Brunswick - Jenney Station, Maine Street
- Saturday, September 12 from 4 to 8:00 pm at the Landing Block Party, Brunswick Landing
- Wednesday, September 30 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at Harpswell Town Office - Free Coffee and Library Card Sign-Up Pop-Up!
Whether new to Curtis Memorial Library or a longtime library cardholder, library tours are back this month every Friday at 10:00 am, the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 am, or by appointment by contacting Liz at esnowdon@curtislibrary.com. We meet in our updated Lobby and learn about the history, art, spaces and services that are available to you with your library card. We hope you will join us!
