Tea With Harriet In-Person

HARRIET LIVES!! Join Historical Storyteller Cathi Belcher on Tuesday April 21 from 1-2:30 PM for a revival of the popular series “Tea With Harriet” -- an informal and entertaining talk on how Harriet Beecher Stowe continues to be a light and inspiration for our particular time and place in history. In this talk we'll explore Harriet as the original Travel Agent who started the Snow Bird movement to warmer areas to escape the New England winters. Enjoy hot tea and homemade baked goods from Miss Beecher's Receipt Book. A suggested donation of $5-10 is asked to cover expenses, but no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds. Cathi Belcher is formerly the Educator for Bowdoin College at the Stowe House in Brunswick. She now carries on this work on her own.
