Thanks to a grant from the Maine Public Libraries Fund, we are able to open the registration for this program to 35 teens total for the April - June 2021 Curtis Crate program: a monthly book subscription program for teens renewed quarterly.

Sign up by March 20 to be one of the 25 subscribers. If registration is full - add your name to the waitlist and you will be first in line for when the program renews in July. Priority will be given to teens who have not already participated in Curtis Crates in order for the grant to reach as many youth as possible.

Inside each box will be a Curtis Memorial Library book (which will be checked out to subscriber so the teen must have their own library card at Curtis Memorial Library), a list of suggested read-alikes, plus a few small items, like bookmarks and tchotkes, for fun.

Once the registration is full, Teen Librarian Melissa Orth will contact subscribers to survey them regarding reading preferences and details on how Curtis Crate works.

This registration is for a 3 month subscription to get boxes in April, May, and June. A sign up will be released in mid-June to renew.
