Cryptocurrency Demystified: A Panel Discussion In-Person

Join us on Tuesday June 7th from 6:30 P.M. - 8 P.M. to hear a panel of experts discuss Cryptocurrencies, the blockchain and NFTs. This panel will be composed of legal experts, financial advisors, and cybersecurity professionals.  Each will discuss their experience with these new technologies and concepts, before answering questions about the impact of cryptocurrecies and how they believe it will shape the future. There will be time for questions from the audience at the end. 

Joining our panel are Adam Nyhan and Barbara Schlichtman, attorneys with Perkins Thompson, P.A. in Portland, Maine. Barbara and Adam both counsel individual clients and companies on legal issues relating to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. While Adam focuses on advizing technology companies in the US and other countries, Barbara serves as the chair of the firm's Trusts and Estate department, while also being a shareholder at the Maine Center for Elder Law.

We also have Vincenzo Garganese, a fee-based financial planner for Baystate Financial in Portland, Maine. Vincenzo has extensive knowledge of investment planning, insurance planning, retirement income planning, and estate planning. 

Sebastian Usami is the owner of New England Secure in Brunswick, Maine, a managed IT company with a focus on security for all aspects of a businesses infrastructure.
